该寺由曲锡吾金创建于公元1686年，大殿建筑面积约800平方米，高约10米，殿堂内塑有释迦牟尼坐像一尊，一面宗教壁画塑绘，红柱上雕龙刻花，色彩艳丽夺目，气氛庄严肃穆，气势雄伟壮观。该寺活佛恩邓曲吉尼玛曾去印度修行数年得道，印度法王敬称其法号为“康曲普喇嘛”，?
